Bottle size and concentration
Swiss Peak positions this 30ml bottle as mid-strength. Suitability still depends on your circumstances, medication and current guidance.
CBD needs a closer read
This page is for adults who are already considering CBD and want the current product facts without promises about sleep.

Why I made this page
Words such as calm and balance are easy to write. They tell you very little about a 3000mg bottle.
The useful questions concern the amount in each drop, the current label, UK guidance and your own medication or health circumstances. Those details come first here.
In my own routine, any product sits behind movement, daylight, a proper end to work and a room prepared for sleep.
Bottle notes
These are Swiss Peak's photographs. I have kept the notes beside them deliberately factual because concentration and suitability matter more than lifestyle imagery here.

Swiss Peak positions this 30ml bottle as mid-strength. Suitability still depends on your circumstances, medication and current guidance.

The merchant states roughly 100mg CBD per full 1ml dropper. Current FSA advice for healthy adults is to limit CBD from food to 10mg per day.

Swiss Peak describes the product as THC-free and links its current batch information. Check the merchant page and current bottle before deciding.

For an informed adult who has completed the safety checks, CBD would remain an optional item in an otherwise ordinary evening routine.
In plain English
CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is one of many chemicals called cannabinoids and can be derived from hemp or cannabis plants. In the UK, CBD sold as a food or food supplement is handled under novel food rules. Inclusion on the Food Standards Agency's public product list is not the same as formal authorisation or endorsement.
This matters because marketing language can sound more settled than the regulatory and scientific picture actually is. I will not tell you CBD treats anxiety, cures insomnia, relieves pain or guarantees relaxation.

CURRENT PRICE

Swiss Peak currently says there are about 20 drops per full pipette and to take up to 14 drops per day. The same page says a full pipette contains roughly 100mg CBD. That suggests approximately 5mg CBD per drop.
The Food Standards Agency currently recommends that healthy adults limit their consumption of CBD from food to 10mg per day. On the merchant's approximate numbers, that official precautionary limit is far below the manufacturer's stated maximum.
I am not giving you a personal dose or telling you which instruction overrides your own professional advice. I am telling you the two sources do not align. Read the current label, consider all CBD you consume, and ask a pharmacist or doctor if you are unsure.
Where it may fit
If an informed adult has already decided to consider CBD, the product might sit inside a calm evening sequence. Close the working day first. Reduce stimulation. Prepare the room. Follow current professional and official safety guidance. Then use relaxation or hypnosis without turning sleep into another performance.
Who should take extra care
The Food Standards Agency does not recommend CBD for people in vulnerable groups unless under medical direction. Its current list includes:
The FSA also explains that long-term risk can increase with lifetime consumption and mentions possible liver or thyroid effects. “Natural” does not remove the need for caution.
Questions worth asking
CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of the cannabinoids found in hemp and cannabis plants. CBD products sold as foods or supplements are not the same as prescribed cannabis medicines.
I would not promise that. This page does not position CBD as a treatment for insomnia or as something that will knock you out.
Swiss Peak describes the current product as THC-free and links to a third-party lab report. I have not independently tested the bottle.
I cannot choose a dose for you. The manufacturer's current maximum directions conflict with the Food Standards Agency's current precautionary advice of 10mg per day for healthy adults. Read both, check the label, and speak with a pharmacist or doctor if uncertain.
Yes. The Food Standards Agency advises people taking any medication not to use CBD unless under medical direction. Never stop or change prescribed medication because of this page.
The Food Standards Agency does not recommend CBD for people who are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive unless under medical direction.
Swiss Peak calls it mid-strength. Concentration matters, but stronger does not automatically mean more suitable. Completely new users should not assume they need this concentration.
