The pouch
I include this as a possible warm ritual at the end of the day. The full ingredient list matters more than the sleepy name on the front.
A warm marker at the end of work
The point is the ritual: make the drink, close the laptop and let the room become quieter.

When work follows you to the sofa
I could finish work without feeling that work had finished. The screen changed, the room changed, but the pace in my head did not.
Making the same warm drink in lower light can mark a change of context. The laptop is closed. The brighter lights are off. Nothing else needs finishing tonight.
I want only a few evening cues, and I want them to be easy to repeat. A warm drink can be one of them.
The pouch and the ritual
The photographs come from Swiss Peak. My notes are about where the drink fits in an evening, and what is actually in the blend.

I include this as a possible warm ritual at the end of the day. The full ingredient list matters more than the sleepy name on the front.

Preparing the same drink in lower light gives the evening a recognisable beginning. Repetition is what makes the cue familiar.

The current formula includes cacao, three mushroom extracts, chamomile, passionflower, ashwagandha and stevia.

Swiss Peak suggests using it 30 to 60 minutes before bed. I would spend that time with the lights down and the work put away.

How I would use it
Reasonable expectations
It cannot close the laptop, remove late caffeine, darken the bedroom, treat insomnia or guarantee that you sleep. If the mug becomes one more product used inside a chaotic evening, the system remains chaotic.
A supplement can support a routine. It cannot replace one.
The current page says the blend is not suitable for children or pregnant women. Anyone breastfeeding, trying to conceive, taking medication, managing a medical condition, or concerned about mushrooms, botanicals or allergies should speak with a qualified professional first.
Questions before making a mug
It is a cacao-based drink with mushrooms and botanicals. It is not an ordinary sweet hot chocolate. The current page describes it as sugar-free and sweetened with stevia.
Swiss Peak currently describes the blend as caffeine-free. Check the current label before use because product formulations can change.
The current direction says to add one teaspoon, 4g, to 250ml of hot or cold water or milk and stir well. The page suggests warm milk or plant milk for a creamier drink.
The current manufacturer direction says 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime. I would use that time to create a boundary around the end of the day, rather than continuing to work while drinking it.
No. The current merchant page specifically says it is not suitable for pregnant women. Anyone breastfeeding or trying to conceive should check with a healthcare professional before using a multi-ingredient supplement.
No. I present it as an optional evening ritual, not a treatment for insomnia and not a guaranteed sleep aid.
