Swiss Peak CBD 6000mg: what the higher concentration changes

If CBD is new to you, do not let the larger number make the decision.

Start with the decision

This page is not aimed at a complete novice.

The 6000mg label is a concentration, not a promise of a stronger or better outcome.

If you have not used CBD before, do not let the larger number make the decision for you. The first questions are whether CBD is suitable for you, whether you take any medication, what current official advice says, and how much CBD is in each drop.

If this raises doubts, read the 3000mg guide instead. That lower concentration still requires the same safety checks.

Current FSA adult precautionLimit CBD from food to 10mg per day

The current 6000mg manufacturer direction says up to seven drops per day, or approximately 70mg on its stated per-drop amount. The current FSA precautionary advice is 10mg per day for healthy adults. Those figures do not align.

I am not recommending the manufacturer's higher maximum. Consider the current FSA advice, the label and any guidance from your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep the larger number in perspective

A larger number does not turn CBD into a sleep treatment.

  • It cannot guarantee sleep or relaxation.
  • It is not a treatment for anxiety, pain or insomnia.
  • It should not be used to replace prescribed medication.
  • It is not suitable for vulnerable groups unless under medical direction.
  • It cannot replace the daytime habits, evening boundary and bedroom environment around sleep.
A supplement can support a routine. It cannot replace one.

Who should check first

Do not casually experiment with high-strength CBD.

The Food Standards Agency does not recommend CBD for under-18s, people taking any medication, those trying to conceive, or people who are pregnant or breastfeeding unless under medical direction. Anyone with health concerns should speak with a healthcare professional before use.

Realised you do not need the higher strength?

That is a useful decision. Read the 3000mg guide to compare the lower concentration and see the same current UK cautions.

Questions worth asking

CBD 6000mg FAQ

Is stronger automatically better?

No. Concentration changes how much CBD is delivered in a drop. It does not prove that the product is more suitable or effective for you.

How does 6000mg compare with 3000mg?

Both are currently sold in 30ml bottles. Swiss Peak states roughly 10mg CBD per drop for 6000mg. The 3000mg page works out to approximately 5mg per drop from its own figures.

What does the FSA recommend?

The current precautionary advice for healthy adults is to limit CBD from food to 10mg per day. The 6000mg product page states roughly 10mg per drop, so a single drop is already around that amount.

Can I take it with medication?

The FSA does not recommend CBD for people taking any medication unless under medical direction. Speak with a doctor or pharmacist.

Will it treat anxiety, pain or insomnia?

This site does not make those claims. CBD 6000mg is not presented here as a treatment for any condition.

Where should a newer user start?

Do not assume that either 3000mg or 6000mg is the right starting point. Read current UK guidance and seek professional advice if unsure. You can also read the lower-strength comparison page.
